CUSTOMER PROVIDED IMAGES
Product Detail Page
Goal: Allow customers to upload images of products and display them on the product detail page in a very limited amount of space.
Solution: Use very tiny thumbnail images to show the user that more images are avaialble. Use javascript to change the default image as the customer rolled over the thumbnails. This allows multiple images to be shown in a small area and be viewed without page refreshes.
CUSTOMER PROVIDED IMAGES
Image Gallery
Goal: Create a flexible template that would work if for one image or hundreds. Allow customers to navigate very quickly through many images, and show all relevant information, including voting, approriateness etc.
Solution: Eliminate multiple page refreshes through use of javascript in a contained section of a single page.

System Flow
This basic system flow was done before html prototypes were built to help us define the experience and answer both technical and user experience questions early on in the process.
WISHLIST &WEDDING REGISTRY
WishList Visitor View
Goal: Create one flexible template to meet different needs for Wish List, Wedding registry, & partners like Target.
Solution: Changed from a layout where product attributes were shown in columns to a more flexible layout where product attributes are shown in a consistent block per product. This allowed varied information to be displayed depending on the type of registry, the rights of the customer, and available product information.
WISHLIST &WEDDING REGISTRY
Wedding Registry
The wedding registry had different information and a different look and feel but used the same display template as the Wish List.

Multiple List System Flow
Having multiple Wish lists would help many customers organize things for themselves, their children and others.
I created this basic flow to help us identify use cases, possible actions for the customer,
and points where we could reduce complexity for the customer in a system where they would have multiple options.

LISTMANIA TEMPLATE REDESIGN
Goals:
Simplify the layout to focus on the author and the products.
Create a consistent way to display the author information (name, rankings, etc) that could be used for any content by that author such as reviews.
Create a consistent and meaningful voting interface.
Solution: Change the layout to emphasize author related information by adding photos of author. Create a consistent display of their name, badges, and ratings. Change the voting scheme from stars, which usually rate products, to a question of whether or not the content was helpful.
Remove any non-critical product information. Integrate search inputs into related content boxes.
EASY PRODUCT SELECTOR
Goals:
Make it easier to search & find products to add to lists. Let the author write more content. Reduce friction and abandonment in the list creation process.
Solution: Create an inline interface that allows people to search and get a mini search results layer of products to add to lists without leaving the list creation process.
COMPARISON GUIDES
Goals:
Create a flexible layout that allows readers to compare items based on clear sets of criteria. Let users choose from pre-defined sets of criteria or create their own criteria for their guide. Display user information and voting interface consistently.
Solution:
Use a grid layout with comparison criteria listed across the top in columns. The user could choose to change the criteria or add/delete criteria columns for their guide.
